On November the 4th, 2008 “the Big Island” will vote to tell police to make adult personal use of cannabis to be the lowest priority for law enforcement. It would also prohibit the county from accepting federal money to fund efforts to eradicate marijuana.
The article in the Honolulu Advertisor states that the definition of personal use is 24 plants or 24 ounces, the county prosecutor believes that limit is too high.
